I rejoined Local 802 after I started teaching voice in the jazz department at the New School, which is covered by a Local 802 contract. My full bio is at www.machantaylor.com, but I can tell you that music has been my life’s work and joy. One of my favorite recent gigs was singing with Gov’t Mule in Asheville, North Carolina at the great venue called The Meadow at Highland Brewing. Besides the New School, I also teach voice at the Clive Davis Institute of Recorded Music at NYU Tisch as well as at the Collective School of Music, and through my private studio.
