David Whitwell

I joined Local 802 to be a part of the network of wonderful musicians in the greatest city in the world. My musical goal is to bring brass instruments to a broader audience using narrative programming and new and old music, as well as film and poetry, to tell a compelling and cohesive story. My favorite recent gig was subbing on “The King and I” at Lincoln Center. It’s a wonderful group of musicians and I was lucky to be playing with them! My principal instrument is tenor trombone (both single and double valve).
