I re-joined Local 802 as I started to get more professional work in NYC. I want to network more and land a chair in a major orchestra or established venue or ensemble. One of my favorite recent gigs was playing at the Cotton Club. The audience and band enjoyed my playing and I was asked back. I’ve been playing trumpet for 40 years. I attended music schools all over the country, and have extensive experience as a freelancer. Without music, I am not as happy and productive as a human being.
