I re-joined Local 802 because I’m now a psychologist who specializes in working with musicians. My musical goal in NYC is to help musicians become more successful performers. The highlight of my performance career was when I worked with John Cage, Charles Wuorinen and Morton Subotnik. My principal instrument is trombone; I earned a master’s degree in music and have toured the world playing classical and jazz. Music is my first love and if I can help performers reach their pinnacle it is the best I can ask for. I’ve coached ensembles therapeutically and was an active performer for 30 years.
