I joined Local 802 to meet new people, find new opportunities and grow my network. I play piano/keyboard, and I’m also a musical director, composer and educator. I perform solo as well as with jazz ensembles and pit orchestras. My compositions include jazz originals, musical theatre and music for industrial videos. I’ve taught everything from private lessons to band and orchestra classes. My favorite gig of late was a jazz duo I did with a bassist on the Upper East Side. The venue had a nice Steinway for me to play, the evening went very well musically, and the crowd was extremely appreciative. Music is important to me because it brings beauty, logic and order to my life.
