I joined Local 802 so I could start doing work as a sub in the pits on Broadway. I have been working as a guitarist/violinist for various pop artists, and performing and working as a session musician. Lately I have been fortunate enough to start subbing for “School of Rock” on Broadway. The show has an amazing band and is an absolute blast to perform! I had to learn to play the recorder in order to do the show; it’s always good to learn a new instrument! My favorite thing about playing in the pit is being surrounded by top-notch musicians who constantly inspire me.
