It has been a professional dream of mine to be a member of Local 802. I decided to join because I recently relocated from Orlando, and I wanted to become a part of the musical theatre community here. I spent several years working in musical theatre in Orlando. Most recently I served as Associate Music Director/Keyboard 1 for a rather unique production of “The Rocky Horror Show” performed in an aerialist theatre. I was given the opportunity because I had previously worked with the director and music director as the accompanist for “The Producers.” After several wonderful experiences in Orlando, I decided to take on the move to New York and pursue working on and off Broadway. I thrive on the challenges of mounting a production, and love the process of collaborating with other artists. I hope to make some new relationships in the theatre community and eventually work as a pianist and music director for Broadway shows.
