I joined Local 802 when I was asked to play Handel’s Messiah with Trinity Wall Street last holiday season. As a baroque cellist and gambist, I am part of the movement to bring historically informed performance into the mainstream in New York and across the country. I love the variety of music I play. I’m looking forward to performing with many ensembles this season including the Sebastians, Grand Harmonie, Early Music New York and Trinity Wall Street, and I’m also excited to be creating new opportunities for early music to develop in my neighborhood, Long Island City.
