Stamford Symphony, where I serve as the de facto chair of the orchestra committee, continues to do its best to provide music online to solidify our relationship with our audience during this time of slow recovery. We’ve done montage projects like “Amazing Grace” — a tribute to Stamford doctors and healthcare workers — which we recorded from home. We’ve also produced socially distanced videos for virtual concerts. We’re constantly updating our Stamford Symphony Channel. One recent highlight was the Bach A Minor Violin Concerto, featuring Pinchas Zukerman, which raised over $250,000 in our first-ever online gala. All of our music is covered under a Local 802 union agreement. Please check out some of the clips below and enjoy! — Peter Weitzner
