Local 802’s New Organizing, Contract Enforcement and Computer departments all worked on the Starlight campaign, with help from many other union staff members and attorney Bob Archer. Local 802 would like to thank the following people and organizations for their help in the campaign, and for future support in the union’s efforts to strengthen the entire club date field: H.E.R.E Local 6 President Peter Ward and Director of Organizing Jim Donovan, Metropolitan Club Manager John Casey, National AFL-CIO Field Representative Susan Borenstein, Jazz Liason Bob Cranshaw, Laurance and Yael Fader, Paula Balzer, Allen Rose, the many unions, organizations and individuals who sent letters and emails to Starlight, and the dozens and dozens of musicians in the club date field who pledged support and helped guide the campaign.
