DANCING IN HARMONY: The Orchestra of St. Luke’s once again partnered with Paul Taylor’s American Modern Dance this season and showed how live dance deserves live music. Musicians are covered under a Local 802 union contract. “Paul Taylor has invested an enormous amount of resources into having live music for his New York seasons,” said cellist Daire FitzGerald, chair of the OSL musicians’ committee. “Audiences have seen what a fantastic difference it makes to have live music. We hope this is a long relationship!”
