Pete Seeger, a lifelong 802 member and the dean of folk music, was celebrated on May 21 at the Community Church of New York on East 35th Street. Pete’s legendary band, the Weavers, was also honored by a tribute band, “Work O’ The Weavers,” which performed Pete’s music all night.
