Local 802 rolls out new reporting app to fight harassment, bullying and more

Volume 124, No. 8September, 2024

Local 802 is rolling out a safe and easy tool called #NotMe to report harassment, discrimination, bullying, health & safety issues, nonunion gigs, job issues and other workplace issues.

To create your account, download the free #NotMe app through the App Store (for iPhones) or Play Store (for Androids). You can also skip the app and sign up on any browser at https://app.not-me.com.

When creating your account, we suggest that you use your personal (not work) email address.

When asked to “link your organization,” use this pin: LOCAL802NOTME. (You can also use a QR code. This poster contains all of this information, including the custom QR code for Local 802 members.) This pin and code are only for Local 802 members in good standing. Do not post publicly or share with non-members.

This registration code is only for Local 802 members.

When creating your account, #NotMe asks for a couple pieces of personal information. This information is stored on the #NotMe servers and is never shared with Local 802 and will never be sold to a third party. #NotMe will collect your first and last name, personal email address (all notifications, including status changes and new chat messages are sent there) and phone number (push notifications can be turned on for status updates and new chat messages). This information is used to authenticate your account and make sure there is only one account per person.

#NotMe allows you to make anonymous reports. However, in the event that you choose to submit a report non-anonymously, only your first and last name is shared with Local 802, never your personal email address or phone number. You’ll have the opportunity to continue the conversation through a two-way chat found directly in the app, even if you report anonymously.

If you have any questions, please start first with the intro video (see below), then the #NotMe FAQs. You may also reach out to any of the following:
