MusiCares, in partnership with The Actors’ Fund of America and the American Federation of Musicians (AFM) Local 802’s Members’ Assistance Program is sponsoring a joint program entitled “Managing the Ups and Downs of the Music Business”. The program will consist of a panel of professionals who will discuss key strategies for managing the personal, professional and financial challenges inherent in making a life in the music industry.

Panelists will include Octavius “Ted” Reid, (Sr. VP at Morgan Stanley); Patch Schwadron, M.S., (The Actors’ Work Program); Arun Luthra, (musician, composer/arranger, teacher); Karen Olsen, (violist and holistic practitioner); and Dee Dee Acquisto, M.S. (Sr. Director, MusiCares).

It is being held on Tuesday, May 27th, at The Aurora, 475 W. 57th St. @ 10th Ave., 2nd Floor, NYC. Registration and networking begin at 5:30pm, with the panel presentation from 6:00 – 8:00 pm.
