The Apollo Theater, which has for more than 15 years featured a band of Local 802 members for its Amateur Night program, recently ratified a successor agreement. In addition to wage increases and commensurate increases in benefits, the three-year contract features – for the first time – compensation for Internet streaming as well new rehearsal and music prep rates.
