At this time, Local 802 is negotiating new agreements with the major freelance orchestras. Until the union arrives at a new master single engagement classical scale, employers may sign a memorandum which stipulates the following:

• A raise in the expired rates by 4 percent.
• $2 increases in health benefit contributions for both rehearsals and performances.
• An increase in the expired cartage rates by 4 percent.

Employers who do not sign the 4 percent memorandum must sign a memorandum to pay the expired rates and a retroactive payment once the new rates have been established.
