The Local 802 Health Benefits earplug benefit is for the covered employee only. Although most of the major medical benefits on the plan can be extended to the covered musician’s family, the earplug benefit applies only to individuals who qualify for Plan A or Plan B. Even if you are married to an 802 member, your spouse can only receive this benefit if there are sufficient contributions to his or her own plan to qualify for it.
