JERRY KRAVAT

As part of the grievance against Jerry Kravat Entertainment Services, Inc. for failure to file all engagements of the Eddy Davis Band at the Carlyle Hotel form April 1997 through May 2000, Local 802 has collected more than $2,000.00 in work dues. The grievance was settled last year after the Carlyle Hotel, signatory to the Hotel Agreement, agreed to make good on health and pension benefit contributions that Kravat, as agent for the Hotel, was supposed to make. Kravat, who was responsible for paying wages and benefits for the band, deducted work dues, but never forwarded the money to Local 802. The payment was finally received in December.
