As Allegro went to press, teaching artists at the Elaine Kaufman Cultural Center were voting on union representation. The National Labor Relations Board was to tally the results on Oct. 16. During the last days of the election, EKCC management sent a flurry of anti-union letters to faculty, including one that criticized the Mostly Mozart orchestra committee (see the committee’s reply here).
