Give the gift of love this holiday season. Local 802 is collecting toys, clothes and food for charity. Every person who donates will receive a free raffle ticket. The winner and prize will be announced at the Local 802 holiday party on Wednesday, Dec. 19 starting at 5 p.m. at the union. Here’s what’s needed: canned and non-perishable food items, baby food, new toys, games, books, stuffed animals, hats, scarves and gloves. The charities are City Harvest and the Federation of Protestant Welfare Charities. Bring your donations to Leslie Wilkins or Kimeo Lee on the third floor of the union building, or bring them to Local 802’s holiday party on Dec. 19.
