The Actors’ Fund AIDS Initiative and the Phyllis Newman Women’s Health Initiative have established a Women’s HIV Outreach and Education Program. The program is a confidential resourse where women in the entertainment community who have concerns about HIV can get information, talk to a counselor, and know they are not alone.

The program provides information on risk assessment; testing and safer sex counseling; case management for women at risk or living with HIV; group services for women with HIV who would benefit from knowing others who live with the infection; and counseling and group services for HIV-negative women whose partners have HIV.
