Subject Line- SONGS OF SUPPORT presents “On the Street Where You Live”
Please enjoy the fourth video contribution to the 802 Emergency Relief Fund – Songs of Support fundraising campaign! Thank you to Russ Anixter, who beautifully arranged the Lerner and Lowe song “On the Street Where You Live,” performed by the Russ Anixter Hippie Big Band for the “Jazz in the Afternoon” series at Local 802 in March (before the quarantine).
The officers and Executive Board of Local 802 have launched this video campaign in response to the Covid-19 crisis. Local 802 musicians, composers and artist friends are raising awareness about the Emergency Relief Fund and bringing in much-needed financial support for musicians in this trying time.
Please share this new song and campaign on your social media, forward this e-mail to family and friends, and if you are able, donate. (After you get to PayPal using our link, use the drop-down menu that says “Optional-use this donation for” and select “ERF – Songs for Support,” so we can track the power of our campaign.)
We are here for our members and together we will make it through this tough time. If you are a musician in need, please click here to apply for support.
With gratitude,
The officers and Executive Board of Local 802
